Natusch - There's No Better Word for Fish - Volume 3
The third edition, published in March 2026, features several new recipes by Chef Thomas Wiese, updated photographs, and extensively revised text about the seaside city of Bremerhaven.
“Our cookbook is a particularly popular souvenir among tourists visiting Bremerhaven,” says Lutz P. Natusch. Since the first edition has been out of print for quite some time, the second book has now been completely redesigned and expanded in content.
The book combines classic dishes with modern interpretations of Natusch cuisine.
Chef Thomas Wiese, who was already working in the kitchen as an apprentice 15 years ago when the first cookbook was published, now shapes the restaurant’s culinary signature. His cuisine blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary influences and reflects the restaurant’s evolution under the auspices of the “Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” gourmet guild.
In addition to the recipes, the cookbook also tells the story of the restaurant and its family—a history that dates back to 1950. At that time, Heinz and Margrit Natusch laid the foundation for the family business in the fishing harbor. Over
the generations, the name Natusch has become synonymous with high-quality seafood cuisine and a culture of maritime culinary enjoyment far beyond Bremerhaven.
